Make Your Way to 4 Paws Kingdom

Located in the scenic Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina, 4 Paws Kingdom is the first and only dog dedicated campground in the US. We exclusively cater to canines and their adult human companions. Here, dogs come first and we are passionate about creating a true doggie kingdom!

Our retreat offers all the amenities dogs and their humans can wish for; a swimming pond, multiple off-leash play parks, an agility park, hiking trails, doggie bathhouse with grooming station and more. All parks in the campground have 4-foot-tall fences. The campground offers full hook-up RV sites with 30/50 amp service, free WIFI, and cable TV. Some sites even have 4 -feet tall fenced yards. No RV … no problem! You can stay in one of our rental RVs or cabins. Add in first class events and entertainment and you have a top-notch, tail-wagging experience. We spent our days playing in all the different parts of the campgrounds (the little lake being the dog’s favorite!) and nights with a fire cooking dinner. We stayed in pongo and loved every second of how cozy it was. It’s also where my fiancé proposed with all of our dogs making the trip even more unforgettable! Can’t wait to be back again!"

"This campground is AMAZING. The dogs really are the star of the show (as they should be) & it was so good to see how much fun they had. It is a place for dogs of any size or age - we have a 10yr old chihuahua, 15yr old cur, & 4yr old lab. Being able to essentially open our camper door & let them into their own "yard" made things extremely easier, so we didn't have to hook a leash every single time they had to use the bathroom (because our site had a private fence). But the very best part was the ponds - it is where our lab learned to swim & found her love of water. We can't wait to go back!"

"I have been to this campground a few times and they never disappoint. If you have a dog/pet, you should def. Check it out. I have never seen a place like this before. It’s all about your dog/pet. There are so many activity sources for your pets, from lakes to running pens and even fenced in areas at your campsite! And the hostesses are marvelous. Very customer oriented and always happy to see you. The grounds are very well kept. Social hours/events are festive and well thought out. Minutes away from Chimney Rock/Lake Lure and Lumberton (which is full of history). I highly recommend Four Paws Kingdom."
