Every aspect of your camping experience is very important to us. We are happy that you have chosen to spend your valuable time with us so we want to assure that you and all our guests enjoy their stay. To assist with that goal, we have outlined some basic RV and Site standards to ensure that we maintain the high quality that you should expect from us. Please note, that the information provided below are guidelines and examples that cannot address every possible question or situation that may arise. We hope that you will contact us with any questions or concerns that you have.

RV Standards

The quality of RVs in a campground can impact the overall experience of all campers. Like many campgrounds, we choose to apply some basic standards of appearance to all RVs that are in the campground.  The basic rule is that all vehicles must be operable and in good condition.  To help everyone understand what we mean by that, we will offer some examples of “good condition.”

Age Limit

An RV does not have to be new to be in “good condition”. We do not impose an age limit for RVs that come to visit.

RVIA (Recreational Vehicle Industry Association) Certification

For the safety of all our guests, RVs should have the RVIA certification. The RVIA certification offers some confidence that the rig complies with certain fire, electrical, and plumbing safety codes. However, as with every guideline, exceptions can be made for non-RVIA rigs which seem to conform to safety requirements and are of a design and style compatible with the park. We are open to discussing a visit by any vehicle that you think would comply with safety and appearance standards described here. Please contact us prior to your visit if you are travelling with trucks, vans, buses, trailers etc. that have been converted for use as a recreational vehicle. Note that our campground is a recreational campground and as such, commercial vehicles with sleeper compartments are not allowed without prior approval. 

Appearance Guidelines

Overall, the RV should look and function as it was originally designed. Here are a few examples that we hope are helpful to define what that means: 

• Doors, windows, and their coverings should be intact and not unsightly.

• Exterior should be free of obvious, poorly-repaired damages.

• Tarps cannot be used for weatherproofing and awnings should be in good condition.

• Air conditioning units should not be added through the walls or windows unless previously approved.

• All hoses, wires, etc. should route through ports as originally designed.

• Exterior should be free of duct tape, repair tape, excessive caulk, etc.

We understand that there may be isolated minor issues that occur during travel. Those would be generally acceptable, provided multiple issues aren’t combined to substantially deteriorate the appearance of an RV. Examples of minor issues could be:

• Minor body damage which has been properly repaired but is still visible.

• Fading of decals and/or paint.

• Minor window cracking

Site Standards

It should go without saying that everyone needs to be a good neighbor to their fellow campers. No one wants to look at a messy site, and a messy site can invite unwanted wildlife.

Following are some guidelines to help everyone be a good neighbor in the campground:

General Safety

Basically, campsites should be clean and neat, free of fire hazards and clutter. Guests should never make alterations to the electric, water or sewer connections provided by the campground. Specific legal requirements must be met when connecting to sewer, water and electric services at the campground. You have rented a site with either 50 OR 30 amp connections so multiple plug-ins on your site are not permitted. 

Tarps, Tents, Shade Structures, Other Structures

“Easy-up”-type structures are allowed but must be contained within the confines of your site. Screen tents may also be used but not for additional accomodations. All humans and animals must sleep inside your RV at night. Tarps are not allowed as coverings for any part of your RV or site.

Temporary fencing may be erected to confine your pups. Like tents and shade structures, they must be confined to only the area of your site. We reserve the right to restrict flags and images that can be displayed within the campground.

Damage

Customers are responsible for all damage or destruction of property, and any injury to persons, caused by the guest or his or her family, visitor or pets. We reserve the right to charge guests accordingly for any damage they cause to the grounds and/or campground facilities, including but not limited to broken waterlines, damaged/missing sewer connections, cable lines, landscaping, and excessive debris (bottle caps, zip ties, cigarette butts, dog poop, etc.).
